Mashpee - Wakeby Pond is two connected ponds that, when taken together, comprise the largest freshwater pond on the Cape.  Depending on algae  levels and the presence of duck mites, swimming can be OK here - Grace has been multiple times for a summer camp (Camp Farley), paddleboard camps and to swim with camp-mates from Horse camp (a short walk from the stables).  It seems to be a good paddleboarding destination.
